Identification of new part delivery
➤ Identification of new product is to be used for identification of product when first delivered to Nissan. This will be applied to the following parts.
➤ Trial products for vehicle and unit or first products for mass production vehicle or mass production unit.
➤ First products delivered to Nissan, after process change or design change.
➤ First products delivered to Nissan, after taken countermeasure for failure.
- - Give identification of new product with affixing the stamps on packing box or another document. Indication size shall be about 50mm diameter.

- - Give identification of new product packing box for each delivery plant.

➤ New Product identification shall be attached to the same side as Nissan logistic label or Nissan designate shipping notice".

➤ When delivering the Important "A" product / parts, suppliers shall implement the following.
1. Delivery:
In principle, the minimum delivery package (pallets, etc.) shall be comprised of the same lot. If some pallet is comprised of different lots, it shall be
limited to 3 lots with a partition between lots, and with identification for each lot.
2. Attachment of lot card or bar code:
Supplier shall implement the following for "product/parts designated by Nissan" and "KD product / parts / product for overseas manufacturing
operations".
a) For product / parts controlled by lot: Suppliers shall attach a lot card or bar code on each delivery package. Number of cards to be attached
will be instructed by Nissan Quality Assurance Department of the plant. If a pallet consists of different lots, suppliers shall attach a lot card or
bar code to each lot. If a lot is loaded to different pallets, suppliers shall attach a lot card or bar code to each pallet.
b) For product / parts controlled by individual: Suppliers shall attach a lot card or a bar code to each product / part. Submission of report on
delivered product / parts lot control.

For North America

to the material on delivery.
